Following Lara Trump’s speech, there was a town hall event conducted by members of the president’s Evangelical Advisory Board that included Pastor Paula White, senior pastor at the City of Destiney, a church outside of Orlando; Pastor Jentezen Franklin, senior pastor of the Free Chapel church – a megachurch with multiple campuses in Georgia and one in California; Tony Suarez, chief operating officer of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference; and Ralph Reed, chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
During her remarks, Laura Trump’s biggest cheer of the night came when she brought up Donald Trump’s appointment of Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court.
“Three supreme court justices from President Trump,” she said to huge cheers from the crowd. “That’s not even including what he’s doing with judges all across the country. This is so important, and the Democrats just left a big hole for him to fill, and aren’t we lucky that President Trump is doing it.”
