SACRAMENTO, Calif.--Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, the nation's largest Christian Hispanic organization, and Rev. Abraham Hernandez, NHCLC Vice President, Northeast Region/Connecticut Association of Pastors have issued the following statements: "The spirit of Herod still lives murdering infant dreams and visions. May God give strength to all of the families who have lost loved ones, to the Sandy Hook Elementary School family, and to the Newtown community who have been so deeply impacted by this tragedy. Rev. We ask that the Pastors and spiritual leaders of the Evangelical church in our country take a moment in the coming days to pray with their congregations for the state of Connecticut, the families, the children and all those who will need to endure this painful and extensive healing process.The road before us is a long one, but we pray and believe that God will heal our land."
