Four Pentecostal Denominations Join Hispanic Association

The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference Appoints Dr. Hernan Castaño and Pastor Yader Emanuel Simpson to The NHCLC Board of Directors SACRAMENTO, Calif.– The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (www.NHCLC.org), also known as the Hispanic Evangelical Association, the nation’s largest Christian Hispanic organization, has announced the appointments of Dr. Herman Castaño and Pastor Yader Emanuel Simpson to the NHCLC Board of directors.. Dr. Herman Castaño was born in Medellin, Colombia, South America and migrated to the United States with his parents at 5 months of age. He graduated with an Applied Science Degree in Computer Engineering and worked in the computer field for 10 years while serving as a youth pastor in a large congregation. At the same time he started translating for well-known world evangelists like Benny Hinn, R.W. Schambach, T.L. Lowery, Tommy Tenney, T.L.Osborne, and others. Dr. Hernan Castaño extended his ministry inside the prisons of the nation by becoming involved in prison ministry where he reached more than 10,000 inmates per month. Today Dr. Hernan Castaño is the Senior Pastor of Rios de Aceite church in Houston, Texas, a 700 member Hispanic congregation. He serves as the official translator for Dr. Morris Cerullo of World Evangelism at the world conferences. Pastor Castaño holds a Ph.D. of philosophy in Biblical Theology issued by Vision University in Ramona California. He has served the community as a pastor for over 11 years now in helping counseling individuals and families in everyday issues and has work for 12 years in marriage and family orientation according to the strong biblical values and morals. “Whenever a people called by God have lost the vision and passion of the living Christ, God has raised up the chosen to restore, to inspire the flame of revival and to awaken the church in truth and justice. These chosen have to remember they are called in an hour of destiny and change. ” I thank God for the NHCLC and find it a great honor and privilege to be appointed to the board of directors. It is with all my heart and spirit that I will with the wisdom of God serve and be faithful to the position I will represent. As a Hispanic of Colombian origin I believe in the God given gifts and destiny of our people,” said, Dr. Castaño. Dr. Castaño is the director of a daily television and radio program called Rivers of Oil, which runs at prime time on local channels in Houston, Texas. Rivers of Oil has run for more than seven years helping people grow and mature in Christ. Dr. Castaño also teaches at Vision University at Houston and is well recognized as a leader and teacher by leaders and pastors in the city. Dr. Hernan Castaño is the president of the Biblical Institute Rios de Aceite in Houston for the past eight years where he is helping in the development of Christian leadership and character. Dr. Hernan Castaño has traveled and conducted many crusades in other nations as well as conferences by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Hernan Castaño serves in the Executive Board of Directors of the Texas Area Pastor Council, which is an association of over 1000 churches working together along with society and government in biblical perspectives and laws according to right ethnical moral standings. He has been recognized by Univision and Telemundo and many local newspapers as a true Hispanic leader standing strong in favor of the Hispanic community and issues regarding immigration, definition of marriage and Pro-Life. Dr. Castaño’s latest release, Breakers of Limits, was recently published in English. He has also written several books in Spanish with titles like, El Arte del Perfumador, Verdades de la Guerra Espíritual, Las Dos Mujeres, Dr. Hernan Castaño continues to reside in Houston with his lovely wife Wendy Castaño who he had the joy to marry in September of 2010. Newly appointed Yader Emanuel Simpson, known as Pastor YES, was born in Managua, Nicaragua in 1968 and moved to the United States in 1988. He was integrated to the Jesucristo El Todopoderoso Ministry in 1990 and was ordained as a Pastor in 1994 by the Apostle Oscar Aguero. He has since served as the Senior Pastor of the Iglesia Jesucristo El Todopoderoso in Miami, Fla. Together with Apostle Oscar Aguero, Pastor YES founded two additional churches in south Florida and helped in the establishment of other churches in Nicaragua. He also established television channel 43 (TV Ondas De Amor), that covers all of south Florida with Christian programming in Spanish 24 hours a day. “I am honored to accept this nomination and I am ready to work along and move forward with the NHCLC on every aspect of our vision as an organization. I am a firm believer that where there is a mind full of faith, there is a life full of possibilities,” said Pastor YES. Pastor YES studied at Logos Divinity University where he earned a Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate in Christian Psychology. Pastor YES’ expertise in Christian Psychology and his personal experience as a businessman and counselor produces a message of hope and prosperity that has helped many to improve their financial and family life. Pastor YES is an author of the Successful Book “La Bendicion Que Enriquece”. He is a lecturer and a motivational speaker and has travelled to Central and South America, the Caribbean and throughout the United States sharing a message of restoration. He is also a representative of CUFI (Christians United For Israel) in south Florida. His television programs are seen in Miami, Puerto Rico, Peru and Nicaragua. Pastor YES has been married to his Wife Noemí Simpson for 18 years and they have two children Yader Josué and Winston Joel.
