This Lent, the Bible goes audible: ¡VIVA! La Santa Biblia introduces immersive spanish audio scripture

As Christians around the world enter the season of Lent—a time marked by reflection, repentance, and renewed attentiveness to God’s voice—¡VIVA! La Santa Biblia is preparing to bring God’s Word to life through a dramatized Spanish Audio Bible project. Set to launch later this year, ¡VIVA! invites listeners to encounter the Bible not just as text, but as an immersive, cinematic experience designed for everyday life.

Developed for a global Spanish-speaking audience of more than 500 million people, ¡VIVA! features over 368 biblical characters voiced by international Latin and Hispanic talent, accompanied by original symphonic scores and 3D immersive sound design. Listeners will be able to choose between Spanish Catholic and Spanish Protestant translations, as well as an English NIV companion edition—making Scripture accessible across traditions and generations.

“The group of people participating in this project is nothing short of remarkable and divinely-appointed,” said Rev. Samuel Rodriguez. “God is at work. I am blessed to be a part of what He’s doing through ¡VIVA!, especially in a moment when so many are seeking deeper, more meaningful ways to encounter God’s Word during seasons like Lent, and I am excited to see how He is going to multiply the impact of His word delivered in a new way.”

¡VIVA! is produced with cinematic sound design, original symphonic music, and dramatized performances that bring biblical narratives to life—building on the legacy of inspired by The Bible Experience, the Audie Award–winning audio Bible project. Through the ¡VIVA! companion app, users will be able to listen on iOS, Android, Smart TV platforms, and web streaming, creating new rhythms of daily Scripture engagement at home, in the car, or on the go.

Sign ups for early access are open, which provide listeners with behind-the-scenes updates, exclusive previews and announcements about our celebrity cast, and ways to stay connected with the broader ¡VIVA! community. Learn more at https://vivabiblia.com/
