National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference to host 2024 Latino Evangelical Leadership Summit

On October 15, the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) will host the 2024 Latino Evangelical Leadership Summit from 9 am to 2 pm at the prestigious Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC.

The theme for this year’s summit is “strength,” which encapsulates the Hispanic church’s collective resolve and commitment to fortifying communities through faith, leadership, and unity. The conference will feature some of the most influential Latino evangelical voices in the country, including speakers like Bishop Robert Stearns, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, Tony Stewart, Carlos Campo, and many more.

“Right now, our world is full of conflict and division, which places our pastors and leaders under immense pressure,” said Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, President of NHCLC. “This summit is both a haven of rest and a catalyst of action for Evangelical leaders and it reminds all of us that there is refuge in the gospel and strength in community. We want every Latino pastor to know that they are not alone and that we stand united against isolation in service of the Kingdom of God, all for God’s glory.”

During the summit, the NHCLC will launch three new centers to support the broader initiatives that serve Latino leaders. These include:

  • The Center for Ministerial Health: This center is dedicated to the holistic well-being of Latino spiritual leaders, focusing on their spiritual, physical, mental, financial, and relational health. The goal is to provide the support and resources necessary for pastors and ministry leaders to thrive in their calling, thereby fostering communities grounded in biblical principles.
  • The Center for Public Policy: With a focus on influencing legislation and public discourse, this center is committed to advancing life, religious liberty, and biblical justice. By engaging with lawmakers and mobilizing our communities, we aim to be a voice of moral clarity and compassion in the public square.
  • The Center for Kingdom Collaboration: Serving as a bridge among diverse Christian leaders and organizations, this center is focused on fostering unity and cooperation. By actively pursuing the fulfillment of John 17:21, “Make Us One,” we can amplify our impact and more effectively address the spiritual and social challenges of our time.

Each center is designed to meet a specific need that has been identified by Latino leaders, offering a variety of resources such as financial literacy, mental health training, and advocacy tools for the value of life in all people.

Led by President Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) represents thousands of churches throughout the United States and the Spanish-speaking diaspora. The organization exists to serve, unify, and provide leadership to the fastest-growing Christian demographic.

The nonprofit group, driven by its Christian mission and values, has been recognized as America’s largest and leading representative voice for Latino evangelicals by CNN, Fox News, The New York Times, Time Magazine, Univision, Telemundo, NBC, and the recent New York Times best seller Latino Land.
