National “Solidarity Sunday” event declares there is no room for antisemitism

On Sunday, January 26, churches across America will join together for a groundbreaking moment of unity—Solidarity Sunday. In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Christian churches from coast to coast will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Jewish community, declaring their unwavering support during a time of rising global antisemitism.

Coordinated by Eagles’ Wings and Moral Hearts Alliance, this historic event will feature Jewish speakers sharing powerful testimonies about navigating life in a post-October 7th world. Their stories will illuminate the urgent need for understanding, compassion, and solidarity in confronting today’s challenges.

“Antisemitism is one of the great evils of our time,” said Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC. “This event is an invitation to people of faith across our nation to stand together with our Jewish brothers and sisters, reminding the world that there is no place for antisemitism and that this evil will not be tolerated.”

Solidarity Sunday is based on Isaiah 1:17, which encourages Christians to “Learn to do right: Seek justice, defend the oppressed, take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”

This isn’t just an event—it’s a movement. It’s a chance to reflect on the lessons of history, confront the realities of the present, and forge deeper bonds of friendship and faith between Jewish and Christian communities.

“We are living in a critical moment when the Church absolutely cannot afford to be silent on the issue of antisemitism,” said Bishop Robert Stearns, executive director of Eagles’ Wings. “The enemies of Israel viewed October 7th as merely a beginning to horrific attacks planned against the Jews. Solidarity Sunday is a powerful and strategic response to this reality, forging unshakable bonds between Jews and Christians in this urgent hour.”
