San Antonio, TX, April 25, 2024 (El Mensaje Communications) – During April 18-19, the NHCLC (National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference) held in San Antonio, TX, an #EQUIP event, an NHCLC initiative designed to provide ongoing training for pastors and lay church leaders. This program has become a fundamental platform for training and equipping Hispanic church leadership in the United States.

Under the leadership of Paco Garcia, NHCLC Director of Prayer, and Abraham Hernandez, NHCLC Executive Director, guidelines were established to develop far-reaching strategies and teachings for Hispanic pastoral and church leadership nationwide. During this time of meetings, planning, organization and training were discussed, with the goal of empowering leaders for greater effectiveness in their ministries.

With the motto #JuntosHaremosProezas, this group of men and women has made a commitment to bring profound transformation to thousands of churches in the coming years. The focus of #EQUIP is to empower and equip Hispanic church leadership in the seven spheres of influence: family, religion, education, arts/entertainment, business, media and government.

“With #EQUIP, we fulfill our commitment to be a national platform that not only represents and unifies, but also serves the Hispanic evangelical churches in America,” said Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC.

In addition, for a more effective and productive task, a plan has been generated to work in 8 regions of the country: Northeast, Southeast, Mountain, South, South Central, Midwest, Northwest and Southwest.

“With this territorial design we approach both with resources and training to pastors and churches in their context and field of action, which will enable us and facilitate future possibilities to strengthen and communicate the activities that are taking place in these regions,” said Paco Garcia.
