Connecticut, March 21, 2024 (El Mensaje Communications) – The pastoral community and Evangelical Hispanic Church of Connecticut marked its presence at the third edition of the “March for Life CT”, where about 2,000 people braved the cold to gather in defense of the sanctity of life.

The event took place yesterday, March 20, in the vicinity of the Connecticut State Capitol, located at 210 Capitol Avenue in Hartford. Abraham Hernandez, National Executive Director of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), had the honor of representing the Hispanic Church at this pro-life rally.

During his remarks, Rev. Hernandez highlighted the diversity of attendees coming from different parts of the state, all united in the fight for life. “We all have the Imago Dei … Yes, we are all created in the image of God,” he fervently affirmed, highlighting the importance of raising our voices for those who cannot.

“God, we choose life, we stand firm for life and we will never stop raising our voices for life because silence is no longer an option, and because you came to give us life and life in abundance,” he affirmed.

The reverend shared with conviction his own story as a testament to the courageous decision of a woman who chose life. Her grandfather, born through her mother’s choice to give birth rather than opt for abortion, was the foundation of her passionate call to choose life in all circumstances.

Likewise, Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, President of the NHCLC, reaffirmed the NHCLC’s commitment to defend and defend life in all circumstances.

Samuel Rodriguez, NHCLC President, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to defend and protect life from its beginning to its natural end.

“We urge all of our country’s elected and appointed officials to protect and serve every member of our society, including the most marginalized, voiceless and vulnerable among us. This is our mission as Christians and as citizens committed to the dignity and value of every human life,” he emphasized.

The “March for Life CT” is part of the initiatives of the March for Life organization, dedicated to promoting the beauty and dignity of every human life and working to end abortion.
