OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM NHCLC DMV & AEMH ON THE SUPREME COURT PARENTAL RIGHTS DECISION

The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) DMV Chapter and the Evangelical Association of Hispanic Ministers (AEMH) celebrate today’s Supreme Court decision as a significant affirmation of religious freedom and parental rights in the United States.

This ruling strengthens the fundamental right of every parent to guide the upbringing of their children according to their faith, values, and conscience-free from undue government interference. In a time when cultural and ideological pressures seek to impose uniformity, this decision marks a powerful victory for diversity of thought and the freedom of belief.

Pastor Joel Galan, representing both AEMH and NHCLC DMV, expressed it clearly: “The Supreme Court decision reaffirms freedom in our country. It’s a victory for all parents, that regardless of their faith and background, are looking to raise their children with the beliefs, values and principles that they consider the very best for them.”

We commend the Court for upholding constitutional principles and pray that this decision will inspire unity, courage, and renewed commitment to protect the liberties that define our nation.
