MIAMI, FL — September 25, 2025. Rev. Samuel Rodríguez, senior pastor of New Season Church in Sacramento and president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), joins the production ¡VIVA! La Biblia en Audio en Español (English: ¡VIVA! The Spanish Audio Bible) in the role of Gideon, one of Israel’s great liberators.

¡VIVA! The Spanish Audio Bible is a multi-voice, cinematic dramatization that brings 368 biblical characters to life through a world-class Latin ensemble, sweeping symphonic scores, and immersive 3D audio.

Gideon (Judges 6–8), portrayed by Rodríguez, was a judge of Israel called in a time of Midianite oppression. Confirmed by signs, he led 300 men to an improbable victory—underscoring that decisive strength comes from God—while calling the nation back to spiritual renewal.

This role also builds on his track record as an author, speaker, and film producer. Rodríguez has published multiple titles that have reached national best-seller lists—including Be Light, Your Mess, God’s Miracle, Fresh Oil, Holy Fire, New Wine, and Persevere with Power—and maintains a consistent presence in international forums and media. In film, he has served as executive producer on BREAKTHROUGH and FLAMIN’ HOT, both Academy Award nominees for Best Original Song—experience that informs his narrative and creative approach on this project.

The series is created and executive produced by Ron Belk and features the special participation of legendary producer Rudy Pérez (Bullseye Productions)—a five-time GRAMMY® winner, Latin GRAMMY co-founder, and Billboard “Producer of the Decade”—whose musical direction elevates the project to a world-class standard.

Confirmed talent includes La India, Tito Puente Jr., Adriana Cataño, Víctor Manuelle, Myrka Dellanos, Christine D’Clario, and Carlos Ponce, among others, blending music, acting, leadership, and media voices.
