Relational Health

The NHCLC, through its Center for Relational Health, is dedicated to promoting healthy relationships among pastoral families and strengthening connections between ministry colleagues, leaders, and local churches. In partnership with Conexión Pastoral, a pioneering organization in the Spanish-speaking church, the NHCLC reaffirms its commitment to the holistic development of pastors, leaders, and churches that, in a practical and experiential way, fulfill God’s mission. Through its programs, initiatives, and events, this partnership seeks to create safe spaces where pastors, ministers, leaders, and their families can be authentic and vulnerable, offering and receiving care, training, and support throughout their ministry journey.

Four programs that can benefit you in building healthy relationships within your family, with colleagues, and in your church leadership:

  1. Safe Community Seminar

A seminar designed to cultivate healthy relationships within the faith community and foster effective teamwork. This program addresses biblical paradigms that help local churches develop a spirit of community where believers interact in a healthy way and work together to serve God. The seminar provides practical, biblically-based tools and principles, along with *coaching* sessions for the church’s lead pastor or the assigned pastoral leader.

  1. Pastoral Formation School

A mentorship process designed to help pastors find health and fulfillment in eight key areas of ministry life. Through a Masterclass and seven online modules, the program explores life paradigms related to calling, support community, personal life, family life, pastoral practice, pastoral action, understanding the church, and leadership development. The aim is to build practical and biblical habits that promote holistic health in ministry.

  1. We Are Home

A safe space for families, starting with pastoral families, offering guidance and resources to help pass on faith and biblical values to their children naturally and practically. This 10-month program includes monthly synchronous sessions that help pastors build healthy relationships with their children, identify family values, and be intentional about the legacy they will leave for future generations.

  1. PastorsRetreats

Safe spaces are designed for pastors to step away from the demands of daily ministry and reflect on healthier ways of living in ministry. Facilitated by seasoned pastors and supported by coaches, mentors, and professionals specializing in ministry health, these retreats provide opportunities for rest, spiritual renewal, and genuine connections with fellow ministers. Participants can also access sessions for counseling, coaching, or mentorship as needed.
