Miami, FL, February 28, 2024 (El Mensaje Communications) – In the midst of the growing humanitarian crisis on the southern border of the United States, Pastor Tony Suarez, director of operations for the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) and founder of Revivalmakers, is preparing an unprecedented event to bring hope and faith to those affected by this situation.

The NHCLC is the largest Hispanic Christian organization in the world, serving more than 42,000 churches in the United States and many others throughout the Spanish-speaking diaspora. Through his role as COO, Pastor Tony regularly meets with members of Congress, the White House and speaks at events to promote the cause of justice, life and religious liberty.

Under the theme “Revival on the Border,” this event seeks to be a spiritual response to the challenges faced by thousands of people seeking a new beginning in the United States.

Scheduled to take place in El Paso, TX from March 21-23 and in McAllen, TX from March 27-29, this revival coincides with the commemoration of Holy Week and some 5,000 people are expected to attend. “Join us every night, where we will conclude our revival with a special service of healing and miracles on Good Friday,” stated Pastor Suarez.

Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC, expressed his support for this initiative, stating: “This prophetic spiritual event has the potential to change the legislative initiative in a positive way and to impact what is happening in Washington spiritually through this border gathering.

The activities will be bilingual, with the goal of including the Hispanic population in the area. In addition, a prayer caravan will be led along the entire Texas-Mexico border, with stops in key cities such as El Paso, Presidio, Eagle Pass, Laredo, McAllen and Brownsville. This caravan will travel a thousand miles, carrying a message of hope and mobilizing pastors to bring about a spiritual awakening in the region. They will be praying for the protection of the border and ministering to those in desperate situations in the desert.

“Each night the Gospel will be preached, altar calls will be made and we will be praying for the sick…. and the baptistery is open to anyone who wishes to be baptized in water!” expressed Pastor Suarez, emphasizing that the purpose of these activities at the border is not to promote politics, but to bring the transforming message of Jesus Christ. “The last time the U.S. had true immigration reform was in the years 85 to 86. Since there is no legislative solution, the church has to stand up and declare that the only answer that exists…. Is Jesus!”

Registration for this free event is now open, and there is also an opportunity to contribute to support these initiatives. For more information about the Revival on the Border event and to register, visit the NHCLC website or click on the link in the event profile.
