STATEMENT FROM THE HISPANIC ISRAEL LEADERSHIP COALITION (HILC)

Led by Pastor Juan Rivera
A Ministry of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC)

In this critical moment, as Israel faces existential threats and global hostility, the Hispanic Israel Leadership Coalition (HILC) stands unwaveringly in support of the Jewish state and the people of Israel. We affirm our biblical, moral, and covenantal commitment to Israels right to exist, defend itself, and flourish.

Founded as the pro-Israel arm of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), HILC is directed by Pastor Juan Rivera and exists to build a multi-generational Latino evangelical firewall against all vestiges of anti-Semitism. In a time of rising hatred and misinformation, our mission is clear: to ensure that the Hispanic evangelical community becomes the most pro-Israel, pro-Jewish constituency on the planet.

This commitment is not only political—it is spiritual, humanitarian, and prophetic. We believe in the peace of Jerusalem, and we are deeply engaged in initiatives that reflect the heart of God. In partnership with ministries working on the ground, we are currently supporting efforts that provide food and aid to vulnerable communities in Gaza, ensuring that compassion accompanies conviction.

HILC’s ethos is one of holistic engagement—defending Israels security while ministering to the needs of both Jewish and non-Jewish communities in the region. This is what it means to bless Israel in word and in deed.

We proudly collaborate with key partners who share this vision, including:

•    Susan Michael and the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem – USA (ICEJ-USA)

•    Robert Stearns and Eagles Wings

•    The Israel-Christian Nexus, among other allies in faith and advocacy.

As Israel responds to the rising nuclear threat from Iran and contends with enemies sworn to its destruction, we call on all Hispanic evangelicals to:

1.    Pray fervently for the peace and protection of Israel (Psalm 122:6)

2.    Support unapologetically the right of Israel to exist and defend itself

3.    Engage actively with members of Congress to express unequivocal solidarity with Israel

For such a time as this, the Latino evangelical Church must rise—not only as a voice, but as a shield. Our support for Israel is not seasonal. It is eternal, biblical, and unwavering.
