In 2008, Tom Hanks was filming a movie in Rome, Italy.

When Natalia Dearnley arrived at a local church for her wedding she was blocked from entering by the film crew who were using the front of the church for a scene.

While Natalia  stood in her wedding dress confused and concerned, Tom Hanks approached. When he realized what was happening, he found the director, Ron Howard, and asked to postpone the shoot to help the bride. Howard agreed and the bride had her wedding.

In 2003, after completing the last of three Matrix films, Keanu Reeves shocked the film crew when he gave $74 million of his fee to the 29-member production team and their families. He said he wanted to honor their work and dedication. He then donated more millions to leukemia research.

In April 2009, actress Demi Moore was scanning her social media accounts when she saw a message from a woman threatening suicide. She stopped all her projects and asked her thousands of followers to find the woman who had written that she lived in San Jose, California. After the woman was located, she was overwhelmed with gratitude and pledged to spend her life helping others in need.

Each of these individuals gave someone the “gift of giving” and it transformed their lives.

This is one of God’s greatest principles. Always give the “gift of giving”. You can never measure the difference you could make.
