National spokespersons include Candace Cameron Bure of CandyRock Entertainment and Cameron and BJ Arnett of Christ over Career and “The Forge” movie.

“The Word of God transforms individuals. It transforms families. It transforms nations. The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference is honored to join America Reads the Bible because we believe that Scripture is not simply our heritage, it is our hope,” said Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC. “As we celebrate 250 years of this great nation, there is no better time to return to the one Book that has guided every generation willing to pursue righteousness and justice for all. One week. One nation. One Book.”

A MOVEMENT, NOT JUST AN EVENT

“This is a national call to ignite revival, inspire discipleship, and unite believers through the power of Scripture,” said Bunni Pounds. “We believe the Word of God transforms individuals and nations—and we’re inviting Americans to engage it together.”

Bill Abbott, President & CEO of Great American Media, added, “This is a meaningful way for Americans to reflect on the role Scripture has played in our history and in our homes.”
