The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) today announced the launch of NHCLC LATAM, a new continental initiative designed to mobilize the evangelical Church across Latin America around a shared commitment to repentance, revival, and reformation leading to lasting cultural engagement and transformation.
NHCLC LATAM will unite pastors, ministry leaders, and faith-based organizations across Latin America to address the region’s most pressing moral and cultural challenges. The initiative will focus on advancing the biblical values of the sanctity of life, the protection of religious liberty, biblical justice, the defense of parental rights, and the building of a spiritual and cultural firewall against antisemitism, Marxism, communism, and ideologies that undermine faith, family, and freedom.
As part of the launch, NHCLC announced the appointment of Pastor Iván Delgado as a key leader of NHCLC LATAM. Delgado serves as the pastor of the AMMI Church network, which includes congregations in Colombia and across several regions of the United States.
NHCLC LATAM will operate under three foundational pillars designed to activate the Church throughout the region:
- Repentance – calling the Church back to spiritual renewal and biblical truth.
- Revival – believing for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit that transforms individuals, churches, and nations.
- Reformation – translating spiritual awakening into cultural influence through public engagement, policy advocacy, and moral leadership.
Through these pillars, NHCLC LATAM seeks to empower the evangelical church to engage culture with conviction and compassion while advancing the Lamb’s Agenda — a biblical framework addressing life, religious liberty, family, justice, and human dignity.
The initiative will include leadership summits across Latin America, pastoral mobilization, advocacy resources, cross-border collaboration with evangelical leaders in the United States, and strategic engagement on issues impacting faith communities throughout the Western Hemisphere.
“As a lifelong friend and admirer of the Latin American church, I celebrate the establishment of this new covenant to carry out a collaborative work within our continent,” said Dr. Joseph Castleberry, NHCLC board member and former president of Northwest University. “The years ahead promise unprecedented opportunities for our countries—not only in terms of economic development and governmental improvement, but also regarding greater social justice and the expansion of our evangelical impact.
The anointing that God has poured out has only just begun to exert its full impact upon our societies, and the members of NCHLC-LATAM will play a vital role in implementing the Agenda of the Lamb.”
Pastor Iván Delgado said the launch represents a defining moment for evangelical leadership across the region.
“The leadership of Rev. Samuel Rodríguez and his team now extends into Latin America, where it is essential to continue this mission in an intentional, strategic, and courageous way. Our nations urgently need a prophetic voice that, unafraid of opposing philosophies and forces, rises as a wall of protection and prevention against the imminent erosion of our fundamental principles.
NHCLC LATAM provides hope, encouragement, and direction as we continue moving forward with faith, conviction, and determination in this critical moment for our nations.”
Pastor Edwin Álvarez of Hosanna Church in Panama also welcomed the launch of the initiative. “The Church must never retreat from the public square,” Álvarez said. “This is the hour for Spirit-empowered believers across Latin America to stand boldly for truth, defend the family, and bring the transforming message of Christ into every area of culture. NHCLC LATAM will help unite that voice across the region.”
The launch of NHCLC LATAM comes as the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference marks its 25th anniversary and continues expanding its mission of equipping and mobilizing faith leaders to engage the cultural and moral challenges of the day.
Additional announcements regarding regional leadership appointments, upcoming gatherings, and collaborative initiatives throughout Latin America will be forthcoming.
