White House Faith Advisor, Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, to Speak at ‘Rededicate 250’ on May 17 at the National Mall

NHCLC President joins a historic gathering of faith leaders, public servants, and Americans of every background in prayer and rededication ahead of the nation’s 250th birthday

Press Release: JDA Worldwide for Rev. Samuel Rodriguez and the NHCLC

April 27, 2026

SACRAMENTO, Calif. —  The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) is pleased to announce that its President, Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, will be among the featured voices at “Rededicate 250,” a historic gathering on the National Mall on Sunday, May 17, 2026. As a White House initiative, organized by Freedom 250, the daylong event will unite Americans of every background in prayer, gratitude, and hope as the nation prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday.

“Rededicate 250” will include sunrise worship outside the U.S. Capitol building and an evening of music at the Main Stage on 12th Street. The event will also offer a full day of Scripture, testimony, prayer, and rededication of the United States as “One Nation Under God.” The gathering is rooted in giving thanks for God’s presence in our national life throughout 250 years of American history — and asking for His guidance for the next 250.

Faith Leaders Praise Pastor Rodriguez’s Participation

“At a time when our nation reflects on its founding and future, Pastor Samuel Rodriguez brings a message of clarity, conviction, and hope. He stands in the great tradition of leaders who call America not only to remember its history, but to renew its commitment to the faith and principles that have sustained it.” — Dr. Carlos Campo, President and CEO of Museum of the Bible

“Rededicate 250 is a profound opportunity for our nation to turn our hearts toward God. We are grateful that Samuel Rodriguez will be lending his voice to this historic moment.” — Rev. Doug Clay, CEO of the Assemblies of God General Council

“I am excited about Rededicate250 and its spiritual significance to America. During this year-long celebration of our 250th birthday as a nation, it is both fitting and appropriate that we remember our deepest spiritual heritage by dedicating these United States to once again “Trust in God.” America’s leading place in the world has been designed by the Lord as a witness to His goodness, providence, and blessing. We give Him all the glory and honor during this anniversary, proclaiming that Jesus remains Lord over all. I am also excited that my friend, Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, will play a significant role in this rededication event. Pastor Sam represents a large segment of Hispanic churches and leaders in our nation who, at this critical moment in history, are having a significant positive influence for Christ. We pray that Rededicate250 impacts both heaven and earth for generations to come!” – Dr. William M. Wilson, President of Oral Roberts University

This dedication takes place in a historic year for the NHCLC as well as it celebrates 25 years of advancing the Lambs Agenda. This milestone year for the NHCLC will be highlighted by a special gathering on October 20th at the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C., featuring both a leadership summit and an evening gala.

That evening, Hispanic evangelical influencers from across multiple spheres, including government, media, entertainment, business, and the church, will come together for a powerful and celebratory gala. This gala, sponsored and presented by Phil Liberatore CPA, will serve as a defining moment of honor, influence, and forward vision as NHCLC celebrates the past and looks ahead to the future.
