Pastor Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), released his newest book “Goliath Never Wins: 5 Rock-Solid Strategies for Slaying Your Giants.” The book draws on the life of David to help readers confront the challenges standing between them and their God-given purpose.
Published by Chosen Books, “Goliath Never Wins” analyzes David’s victories and failures alongside the battles many people face every day. Pastor Sam uses the five stones David carried into his encounter with Goliath as a framework for five traits: identity, intimacy, integrity, influence and innovation.
“David defeated Goliath by stepping forward in bold faith because he knew who God had called him to be,” said Rodriguez. “My hope is that this book helps people stop defining themselves by the size of the challenge they are facing and instead start living with the courage and purpose God has given them.”
