The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) has named Life Pacific University (LPU) its official School of Choice through a new five-year partnership designed to expand access to higher education and leadership development opportunities for current and future ministry leaders.

The partnership will create pathways for NHCLC members, pastors, ministry leaders, students and families to pursue Christ-centered higher education through Life Pacific University’s undergraduate, graduate and bilingual academic programs.

Life Pacific University is a regionally and nationally accredited Christian university affiliated with the Foursquare Church and committed to the transformational development of students into leaders prepared to serve God wherever he calls them. Founded in 1923, the university serves more than 800 students and has trained more than 23,000 alumni for ministry, business, education and community leadership.

As a designated Hispanic-Serving Institution, Life Pacific University has a longstanding commitment to equipping diverse leaders through both English- and Spanish-language education. The partnership is in line with NHCLC’s mission to develop leaders who impact the church, culture and society through biblical truth and Spirit-empowered service.

“Education continues to be one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives, strengthening communities and preparing the next generation of leaders,” said Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the NHCLC. “Life Pacific University shares our commitment to biblical truth, Spirit-filled leadership and expanding opportunities for Hispanic students and ministry leaders. We are excited to partner together to equip leaders who will influence the future of the church and society.”

“As a designated Hispanic Serving Institution with a commitment to English and Spanish-language education, Life Pacific University is grateful for the opportunity to expand access, strengthen leadership pathways, and serve the next generation of leaders and beyond across the nation and throughout the globe in partnership with NHCLC. We believe the next five years will be significant, fruitful, and Spirit-led,” said Dr. Angie Richey, president of Life Pacific University. “We are deeply grateful for Rev. Dr. Samuel Rodriguez’s visionary leadership, prophetic voice, and unwavering commitment to advancing the Lamb’s agenda. His influence continues to inspire leaders across the nation and around the world to serve with courage, conviction, and Kingdom purpose.”

The partnership is effective immediately and will include collaborative initiatives focused on leadership development, academic access and ministry training opportunities for NHCLC members and affiliated churches nationwide.
